The weather in Montreal has been a dream lately. We have all defrosted from the bitter freeze of the winter and the city is actually quite beautiful when it’s not buried in two feet of snow. I’ve been trying to “fall in love” with the city and spend my days walking. Most of the students here don’t really venture beyond the “McGill bubble”. Montreal beyond it’s downtown core looks very much like a small town with its heyday in the 60s. I’ll be returning to Toronto the 31st just in time to see Coeur de Pirate! I really miss you guys (and social interaction in general) because I am pretty much alone most days. Most students have left the city. On the plus side, I go to the gym almost everyday for fun classes like Spin, Zumba and Boot camp (less fun). Hopefully I’ll lose all the weight I put on during finals. ❤ – J

  1. Hi! I am from Montreal and if you ever want to visit more places before going back to Toronto, you should visit the Old Port (my all-time favourite neighbourhood), the Quartier des spectacles and le Plateau Mont-Royal! I am sure you will love it. I hope you will enjoy your last days here 🙂
